Legalization is divided into: Consular Legalization and Apostille stamping
Consular legalization is one of the ways to legalize documents in foreign economic activity.
However, compared with the apostille, it is a more complex two-way procedure. Unlike apostille, it is used in document management with organizations originating from countries that are not parties to the Hague Convention (signed on October 5, 1961).
Properly done Legalization of a document gives the right to use the document in countries that are not members of the Hague Convention. You can get acquainted with the list of countries that signed the Hague Convention of 1961 on our “BLOG” page and if your country is not in this list, then your documents are subject to consular legalization.
